123 Scrapbook CHRISTMAS AUCTION!!

This is soooo exciting!! 123 Scrapbook are having a Christmas Auction.

And the best part of all is you dont have to bid with your own money - you earn SCRAPCASH to bid on over $1,000 worth of  fantastic items.  So here is how it works.

1. EARN YOUR SCRAPCASH
There are a number of ways you can earn your SCRAPCASH.

Place an order and for every $1 you spend you earn 1Scrapcash.(Does not include postage or gift certificates). Order must be placed AND paid for between 16 November and 2 December inclusive.

Make a post in the forum and earn 1Scrapcash for every post.  Posts must be made between 16 November and 2 December inclusive.  They must be 'legitimate" posts.  Posts that are deemed not legitimate eg: a post containing a single word etc, will not be counted.  Posts will be moderated between myself and the Dream Team and all decisions are final.

Upload a project to our gallery and earn 5Scrapcash for every upload.  Projects must be uploaded between 16 November and 2 December inclusive in order to be counted.

Register as a new member of our Forum to earn 10Scrapcash.  Registrations must be placed between 16 November and 2 December in order to be counted.

Get a friend to register as a new member of our Forum to earn 10Scrapcash.  If you are already a member why not invite a friend to join us!  Once your friend has registered between 16 November and 2 December inclusive they should PM me or email me at store@123scrapbook.com.auto advise me of your name so you can get your Scrapcash.

Come along to an online class to earn 20Scrapcash.  We have two classes running that you can attend.  The Kaiser Wreath Class with Karlene on 20 November and the Last Minute Christmas Gifts Class with Monica on 27 November.  You must come to the class and actively participate in the chat on the night in order to be eligible.  Details of these classes and how to register are in the Online Classes section of the Forum.

Enter a competition to win MORE Scrapcash.  We will be running some fun compeitions over the next 2 weeks to give you a change to earn even more Scrapcash.  Keep an eye out for them in the Forum and make sure you join in.


2. REGISTER
In order to participate in the Silent Auction you must register in the registration thread in this topic.  Registration will close at Midnight AEDST (Sydney Time) 2 Decemeber.

3.  GET YOUR SCRAPCASH CHEQUE
On 3 December everyone who has registered with receive their SCRAPCASH CHEQUE via email.  Keep an eye out for it and print it out as you will need it to bid with.

4. BID ON YOUR ITEMS
Over the next two weeks we will putting up the items that you can bid for.  And believe me you are going to want these items.  I cant give anything away just yet but watch in this category - the first item will be up on Monday 16 November with new items being posted regularly.

I'm still alive.. I think!

Still having computer issues and probably will be until after Christmas. It's such a weird feeling having to rely on technology so much. I feel like I am back in the 90's with the computer I am on. More RAM is definitely the first on the list when we get paid this week! Working on a computer with only 256 mb ram is soooooo slow. Major freezing issues and will only work when it wants to. Needless to say Photoshop does NOT work well on this old thing.

It took me 2 hours to edit 4 photos and download them to photobucket.
It took me 3 hours to download the new Messenger cause it wouldn't let me use the old one anymore :(

Need I say more???

I just don't have that time during the day to sit here and wait 3 minutes for just one page to load.

I have though been keeping busy with lots of DT work and teaching.  I've been making lots of Christmas gifts also. Trying my hand at sewing too. I must say I'm not very good LOL!

So yes I have been a slacker, not visiting anyone's blogs, not updating my own, not being able to help out with 123 Challenge. I feel so bloody lost right now.

Here are a few things I have been up to lately. Some are only sneaks as they are classes over at Flourish.

Here are a couple of cards and a project I have done for 123 Scrapbook

I couldn't bare cutting up this paper, so I popped it onto a canvas and added some embellishments. LOVE this paper!

 
 It's hard to see all the embellishments in the photo.

I've also been busy running an ATC club over at 123 Scrapbook. It's been wonderful to see all the stunning designs and artwork and now to call them mine LOL! Also very busy preparing for our Christmas Cybercrop and Christmas Party. We are having something very special happening as of today, but I will put that into a separate post. YOU HAVE TO BE IN IT!

Computers suck!

My "new" laptop died just over a week ago. It was only just over a year old and the motherboard fried. Will cost me more to fix it than I actually paid for it. Just out of warranty too.. how much does that suck???

I'm extremely pissed off to say the least. All my software and everything I use for work etc is on that laptop..grr. They have salvaged the hard drive for me but I am now working on really old computers and they won't take all the stuff that I had on the laptop and they are slow and freeze. It sucks!

Trying to figure out how we can upgrade these old ones until we have enough money to buy a new one. Always a drama here LOL!

So no pictures of any work that I have done, until I can get photoshop to work the way I want it to on this old dinosaur.

I have been keeping busy with lots of scrapping projects and teaching projects. Just realised how much time I spend on the computer, it is quite nice to get a break from it all. That is probably the only good thing about it LOL!.

Pupil free day tomorrow, so we are planning on doing something nice. Not sure what yet, but I want to get out of the house. Might head off to the beach!

123 Scrapbook had the September Cybercrop on Friday night and boy, did we have some fun!! It was great to see so many new members joining in.

Just love the new Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses range. If you didn't want to use it as a Christmas line, it is so versatile. Love it and can see myself using it again and again!

Here is a sympathy card I made for our Card Section on the FORUM. This one came together in literally 5 minutes! The paper needed nothing added to it.. don't you just love Websters Pages??

I have just finished up a project that will be a 3 week class that I am doing over at Flourish and there will be sneaks coming soon on that. 

Lots of the work I am doing at the moment is for classes and I always forget to take photos of the projects before handing them over.. must remember to do that from now on.

Woohoo!! I sat all afternoon watching the game unfold.. and what a nailbiter it was! I'm sure the whole neighbourhood could hear my screaming.. I could barely stand the last 10 minutes of the game!  Yay boys.. you did well :)  Love my hometown boys!!

Even had to change my class date cause I knew I would be a bit of a zombie the next day LOL!. Just slightly obsessed.

Time for an update...

Me thinks it is! I'm not a very good blogger, but that's ok. I've been super busy the last couple of weeks and no look of it getting any better soon.  But hey, what doesn't kill me makes me stronger huh? LOL!

It's school holidays, and the kids are already at each others throats. Thank goodness Scarlett loves her new Kindy and will have some fun there :) Dominic and Paul are going away for the second week to Sydney for a whole week and boy am I going to miss them!! They will be having heaps of fun and I will be home pining for them LOL!

I've been creating and for some reason I can't find the photos that I have downloaded. Firefox is putting them in a folder somewhere and do you think I can find out where? Something funny going on, cause I can get a few images to pop up but not all of them. Weird!

This is my Toilet Roll Mini Album that I did for 123 Scrapbook for my Kit and Kaboodle section. I found this tutorial on youtube and thought I would share it with the girls :) I really loved how it turned out and those Websters Pages papers are just so scrummy!!

Last Friday night I had my Alcohol Inks Class and here are a few images from the night. It is now open to everyone to have a look HERE.

I also did a card for A2Z Scraplets - really like how this one turned out. Gotta love Pirates right?

It's a bit glary from the clear embossing I did all over it.. I coloured it in with markers and then covered it all in clear embossing. Here is a couple of closeups

CONGRATULATIONS!

I want to say HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to my darling friend Charmane and family on the birth of Ryarne this morning at 2.02am.

I'm sure she is just the most cutest thing and I can't wait to see a picture of her! Another cute bubby to add to your gorgeous family!! Mwah xxx

Oops - My Bad??

Yes! Slack Blogger? Yes! Busy that I don't have time for anything? Yes! LOL..

Since I have been back from the retreat, I have been so busy it's not funny. Seems like everyday there was something going on. Today is a good day though, finally catching up on all my scrapping and there is heaps to do :(  I like to be organised, but having that time off blew that out of the water LOL. Back to working like crazy to meet deadlines..beautiful!

I finally found time to take some photos of some of the layouts that I did at the retreat..

This is a card I have done for the Rudolph Club over at 123 Scrapbook. Every 2 weeks we create a Christmas Card so that by the time Christmas comes around we have a few ready to send out. Come and have a look and get started on your Christmas Cards early instead of leaving it to the last minute (like I always do!!).

 

Lots of things happening over at 123 Scrapbook at the moment. We are organising our VERY FIRST RETREAT!!!! I am soooo excited. It will be held next year around September time (dates not set as yet) but put your name down if you want to attend. I can tell you it is going to be a BLAST!!

Also we have a new Design Team Member joining us as of October. This is very exciting too. She is such a wonderful scrapbooker and I can't wait to be able to share the news on who it is.. Not long now..hehe :)

I will also be teaching an online class on Friday 18th September using Alcohol Inks. I have learned lots of new techniques that I will be showing you and it's going to be a great class. Hope you can join me :)
